We created this Recruit-a-thon recruitment prototype in the context of a self-managed organization. However, this can be executed in any type of organization. The purpose of this prototype to use the collective power of all the participating employees to find new talent. Using the Hackathon as a metaphor and method. A hackathon is an intensive competition of maximum 24-48 hours with a defined scope or assignment. It's originally used for computer and web programmers.
So, now we take that method and use it for recruitment purposes. `As a result, you get the 'recruit-a-thon' recruitment prototype. An intensive competition for teams of employees to find the best new talent in a short timeframe. This decreases the time-to-hire and above all increases employee engagement.
