Don’t go into defense mode.
Try to ask questions to have a good understanding of what feedback has been given.
Summarize the given feedback to make sure you are both on the same page.
Reflect on the emotions, how did it make him or her feel and how does it make you feel now you know this
Tell what you will do with this feedback. It’s up to you to decide on what you want to do with the feedback.
