Boost your work performance while eating

One of the best ways to get the team bonding is something which is the glue in all cultures: food. Don’t eat your food at your desk, don’t go outside to the local bakery, eat in. Eat at on one table with each other. The longer the table is, the more people you can share your food and stories with. The best way to really make people connect with each other is to rearrange the line-up. People tend to sit next to the colleagues they know, but the real bonding starts when you mix it up. You have always something to talk about: food! Most important rule: everyone is equal. Management or directors also join in. The best way to learn what is going on in the company is talking over lunch or diner with your employees.

First: get a good place to eat. Order a long table and lots of chairs. And very important, get some good food on the table. Schuberg Philis didn’t order the food, their own cooks prepared it! The self-organized teams decided that the lunch and diner times at the office are so important for the culture, that they need some cooks to prepare it. Well, I can really advice to do this too.
