What is holding you back?

You want to kickstart a positive change in your organization, big or small. We believe in change that is continuous and participatory. The prototyping.work methodology facilitates this and creates a movement. It starts small, with a tension. Normally, a tension is not a desirable feeling. You don’t want to feel tensed. But in this case we embrace the tension. It might be the starting point for the improvement you seek.

Before you can join the Prototyping.Work workshop, it’s necessary to articulate your tension.

Obstacle

A tension is an obstacle that is holding you back from doing your best work of tomorrow.

Some examples:

  • Our meetings don’t lead to decisions or actions
  • It’s not clear who has the authority to make decisions
  • We can’t keep up with the speed of the outside world
  • Bureaucracy eats up our ideas

Opportunity

A tension doesn’t necessary need to be a problem or obstacle. It can also be something positive. A hunch, or an opportunity.

Some examples:

  • The collaboration with the R&D department can be more intense
  • I’m inspired by the practices on the Prototyping.work platform
