Do you know the television program 'The Roast of..', on Comedy Central. Where famous personalities get burned to the ground by a group of comedians and funny characters. Think of that setting, but then with your team. Not to burn your colleague to the ground, but to really help them take the next step in his/her career. It's a fun and constructive way.
What steps to take for the practice
Decide if you want the meeting for every team member, or for every member a separate meeting (our experience is, that the latter is the best option)
Plan and set up a 'Roast meeting'
Gather feedback from all relevant colleagues and clients
Hold the meeting with the purpose to help your team member grow individual and you all as a team
Focus the meeting on constructive feedback and not on the Roast, by the concept of Comedy Central :-).
